Supporters are people who will provide ongoing pulse feedback to the Participant about the progress of their behaviors in their action plan. We generally recommend about five Supporters. There are two primary characteristics of good Supporters:

  1. People who can observe the Participant in action 
  2. People who are willing to spend a few minutes periodically to provide feedback and help the leader improve her effectiveness.

To add a Supporter, first encourage Participants to speak with their Supporters verbally, asking them to participate as a Supporter throughout their coaching and/or leadership development experience. Either the Coach or the Participant can add a Supporter. From the Participant’s main page, scroll down to Supporters and click “+”.


Add the Supporter’s email and name.

You can choose to send a welcome message to the Supporter now, or you can send the welcome message at a later date.

Click the green “Add Supporter” button. 

 

If you click on the checkbox to include a welcome message, a standard template will be displayed which you can customize and send.
